LIZZY CAPLAN (Jacqueline) was The Goth Girl in MEAN GIRLS. She was on FREAKS AND GEEKS and currently co-stars on CBS’s THE CLASS. Lizzy starred in LOVE IS THE DRUG, which premiered at Slamdance 2006.

IZABELLA MIKO (Kristin) moves from big studio films (COYOTE UGLY), to high-profile TV (DEADWOOD), to European art films (BYE BYE BLACKBIRD).

ALEX KINGSTON (Diane) has a career which ranges from the title role in the BBC Miniseries THE FORTUNES AND MISFORTUNES OF MOLL FLANDERS, to co-starring in CROUPIER, to eight years as a series regular on ER.

DAVID CROSS is a cult icon, star of MR. SHOW, co-star of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, memorable as the brother-in-law in ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and in many other movies, big and small.

STEPHEN GYLLENHAAL is the acclaimed director of PARIS TROUT, WATERLAND, and TWIN PEAKS. Though he is he father of Jake & Maggie Gyllenhaal, CRASHING is Stephen’s acting debut.

THE CREW

GARY WALKOW (Director) has four jobs: father, filmmaker, photographer, novelist. After his first film THE TROUBLE WITH DICK(an homage to Philip K. Dick), he adapted Dostoevsky’s NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND. His next film, BEAT, was about William and Joan Burroughs. In CRASHING, he recycled THE TROUBLE WITH DICK into Campbell Scott’s first novel. After all, recycling might save the planet.

ANTHONY & JOE RUSSO (Executive Producers) wrote and directed PIECES, which premiered at Slamdance. Their second picture, WELCOME TO COLLINGWOOD, was produced by Stephen Soderbergh and George Clooney. They won a directing Emmy for the pilot of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT and directed most the episodes of the show. YOU, ME AND DUPREE is their most recent feature.

ALAIN SILVER (Producer) recently produced Oscar-winner Bobby Moresco’s feature 10TH & WOLF. Among his many producing credits is BEAT, Walkow’s previous Park City premiere. Alain has also written a score of books, including eight about film noir, making him a leading authority on that subject. He is perhaps the only film historian actively producing independent movies.

ANDREW HUEBSCHER (Cinematographer) has recently shot the features BELIEVERS for director Daniel Myrink (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT), WHAT WE DO IS SECRET (biopic of punk legend Darby Crash), and THE ELDER SON.

STEVE VANCE (Editor) created the comic book art for THE TROUBLE WITH DICK and has worked on all of Gary Walkow’s subsequent feature films. Also a graphic designer and illustrator, he’s thought to be the only person to have won both a Grammy (for art direction) and an Eisner (for cartooning).

RON JUDKINS (Sound) has won two Oscars as a sound mixer, for JURASSIC PARK and SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. Among his extensive credits are eleven of Steven Spielberg’s pictures. His directorial debut, THE HIGH LINE, premiered at Sundance.

ERNEST TROOST (Composer) has written diverse scores for films and television, from the Oscar-nominated animated short DR. DE SOTO to the cult classic TREMORS. His style can move from hipster jazz for BEAT to the Emmy-winning delta minimalism of HBO’s LESSON BEFORE DYING. Ernest’s love of country-blues led to his solo album “All the Boats Are Gonna Rise,” and he performs its title song in the coffeehouse scene in CRASHING.

DAVID GLANZER (Casting Director) set out to be an actor, but between gigs he served as a production assistant on several short films and developed a love of behind-the-scenes film work. He served as an extras casting assistant on MISSISSIPPI BURNING, which led to a job on Thomas (“The West Wing”) Schlamme’s MISS FIRECRACKER, and his career as a casting director was set. David draws upon his own acting background in his work with up-and-coming actors and filmmakers alike.
